About Me

I was born in Ottawa, Ontario. I moved to Carleton Place in my teens where I chose to marry and raise a family. It was during a camping trip to Bon Echo Provincial Park in September 2016 that I discovered that I had an eye and a budding love for photography was born. Early in 2017, I left on a journey where I was able to travel and nurture this passion. I spent a year staying in motels, hotels, a tent, and in my car.

Self-taught, I take all of my photos using my Moto G cellphone that is about 5 years old and I don't use Photoshop.

Some of my work has previously been exhibited and available for sale at the former restaurant, Chesswood's, in Carleton Place as well as at Tea and Cake in Almonte (formerly Robin's Nest Tearoom). As I am just getting up and running, I am not currently offering prints for sale through my site. Please stay tuned as I let you know where my images will be available shortly. If you see an image that interests you, please contact me at nancyboastphotography@gmail.com and I will try to accommodate.

While I originally started out taking landscapes, I have since branched out into other subjects such as abstracts, objects, and other nature photography. Please check back often as my site is a work in progress and I will be updating frequently.

So, sit back and relax and please enjoy browsing through my work. And thank you for visiting my site!
